Which document translation you actually need
The format of an official translation depends not on the bureau but on the authority that will accept the document. If the document goes to a Ukrainian authority (citizenship, residence permit, court, civil registry), you need a notarized translation into Ukrainian. If it goes to a Polish, Czech or German institution, you need a sworn translation into the destination language. For Hague Convention countries an apostille is also placed on the original, and for non-convention countries, consular legalization. The table below shows which route applies to your case.

How a notarized translation differs from a sworn and a plain one
A plain translation is just text in another language, with no legal force; it is fine for internal use but not for submission to official bodies. A notarized translation in Ukraine is where a qualified translator translates the document and a notary certifies the authenticity of their signature; the notary does not check the content itself. This format is accepted by Ukrainian institutions and some countries outside the EU.
A sworn translation is done in the destination country: it is produced and certified with the personal seal of a sworn translator listed in that country’s register (tłumacz przysięgły in Poland, vereidigter Übersetzer in Germany, soudní překladatel in Czechia). Official procedures in those countries need exactly this, not a Ukrainian notarized translation.
