Apostille on a power of attorney and corporate (constitutional) documents
An apostille on a power of attorney and on corporate (constitutional) documents is issued by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine - the same as for notarial documents. We work remotely across all of Ukraine: you send the documents by Nova Poshta (or we work with a notarised original), we submit them to the Ministry of Justice in Kyiv on your behalf and return the finished result. State fee 2026: UAH 670 for individuals, UAH 1160 for legal entities. Standard timing is up to 3 business days.
- We submit to the Ministry of Justice in Kyiv for you - no visit required
- Two tracks: powers of attorney (individuals) and a corporate B2B package, turnkey
- State fee shown transparently: UAH 670 individual / UAH 1160 legal entity (2026)
- When needed - notarised translation and a double apostille for the destination country
We arrange apostilles on powers of attorney and corporate documents for clients across Ukraine and for Ukrainians abroad - with no visit to the Ministry of Justice. We submit in Kyiv and return the result by Nova Poshta or international delivery.
Apostille on a power of attorney (individuals, private transactions)
A power of attorney is first certified by a notary, and the Ministry of Justice apostilles the signature and seal of the notary (not the signature of the principal). The order is therefore always the same: notary → apostille by the Ministry of Justice → translation if required. The bureau does not 'create' the power of attorney - the principal executes it before a notary; we take care of submission for the apostille and the return of the finished document.
A power of attorney with an apostille is most often needed to sell or buy property abroad, to settle an inheritance, for representation in court and before authorities, and for banking matters. You can arrange it while abroad too: the power of attorney is certified by a local notary or at a Ukrainian consulate, and we handle submission to the Ministry of Justice and the return ourselves.
Some countries require a double apostille - on the original power of attorney and on the notarised translation. In practice Israel and the Netherlands ask for this most often, but it ultimately depends on where the document will be filed, so we confirm the exact format for your country before we start.
Apostille on corporate and constitutional documents (B2B)
The charter and founding documents are apostilled via a notarised copy: the notary makes a certified copy and the Ministry of Justice apostilles the notary's certification. An extract from the company register (EDR) can, as a rule, be apostilled directly, without a notary (this is market practice, so we confirm the specifics for your case). We handle meeting minutes, shareholder resolutions, a director's affidavit and the certificate of registration in the same way.
Corporate documents are needed to open a company or branch abroad, to open accounts, to take part in tenders, and to register on marketplaces. These usually come as a package, so we manage the whole set together and submit the documents in sequence, without idle gaps.
Note the state-fee rate: for legal entities it is UAH 1160 (versus UAH 670 for individuals). Corporate documents are filed by the legal entity, so the UAH 1160 rate usually applies - we confirm the exact applicant category at submission.
How we work remotely across Ukraine
We have no physical office in your city - the model is fully remote, which lets us serve clients across all of Ukraine and Ukrainians abroad. You submit an online request, send the documents by Nova Poshta (or hand over a notarised original), and we file them with the Ministry of Justice in Kyiv and return the finished result by Nova Poshta or international delivery.
All the relevant authorities are concentrated in Kyiv, so we run the route locally, without forwarding documents between regions. We keep you updated on the status at every stage - from submission to collection of the apostille.
Translation and legalisation after the apostille
Beyond the apostille, the destination country often requires a notarised translation of the document. We carry out the translation in the correct order: sometimes the apostille goes on the original, sometimes a double apostille is required - separately on the notarised translation.
If the country is not part of the Hague Convention, consular legalisation is required instead of an apostille - a multi-step procedure through the consulate. We map out the exact route for your country before we start, so we reduce the risk of rejection (the receiving authority makes the final acceptance decision).
