That is why a diploma without its transcript is almost always sent back.

So the diploma and the transcript always travel together here and are checked line against line: the surname as in the passport, the institution name and the subjects word for word the same in both. The English names of Mykolaiv universities are settled - Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University and Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding - and if the diploma and the transcript spell them differently, that reads as two different institutions.
