Etalon Translation Agency has operated since 2010 and has now opened an office in Bratislava-Petržalka serving all of Slovakia.
We provide sworn (úradný) translation in all language pairs, standard and specialist translations for businesses, and the full preparation of Ukrainian documents – including the apostille arranged directly in Ukraine. Ordering is fully online: e-mail your scans and collect the finished translation in Petržalka, by post, or as an electronic sworn translation.
What we translate in Bratislava
We translate personal documents and business documentation – sworn (bound and certified by a sworn translator) or standard, depending on what your institution requires. You can bring the originals to our office in Petržalka and collect the finished translation there. In the capital these are most often:
- birth, marriage and death certificates for the Bratislava registry office and the foreigners’ police;
- diplomas, school certificates and their supplements – for study at Bratislava universities and for nostrification;
- criminal record extracts for employers in the Bratislava region and for authorities;
- contracts, articles of association and company-register extracts for companies registered in Bratislava;

We specialise in documents from Ukraine for Slovakia: the apostille on the Ukrainian original is arranged directly in Ukraine through our own Kharkiv and Kyiv offices, followed by a sworn Slovak translation – the whole package from one provider, no intermediaries.
We produce electronic sworn translations – a PDF with the sworn translator’s qualified electronic signature, ready to file via slovensko.sk or e-mail to the authority.
We help with nostrification paperwork – recognition of a foreign diploma or school certificate in Slovakia: we advise which documents to prepare and provide their sworn translation. You can hand the papers over in person in Petržalka.
For businesses we provide specialist translations (legal, technical, medical, e-commerce), proofreading and interpreting. We invoice your company and you can collect the originals at the office.
