Apostille in Zaporizhzhia: where to file in 2026
An apostille validates a Ukrainian certificate, diploma or extract for 120+ Hague Convention countries. Zaporizhzhia residents rarely need to travel for it: since 1 February 2026, Justice-category documents are filed at any civil-registry (DRACS) office in the city, at a notary, or via the Diia app – 670 UAH state fee, up to 3 business days. Diplomas (Education Ministry), police checks (Interior Ministry) and medical papers (MFA) still run through Kyiv – Etalon files those remotely, wherever you are now.
- No justice headquarters of its own – and none needed: any city DRACS office or the Diia app takes Justice-category documents
- 2026 state fee: 670 UAH for individuals, 1160 UAH for companies; up to 3 business days as standard
- Kyiv-side filings – ZNU and Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic diplomas (Education), police checks (Interior) – handled for you
- We serve Zaporizhzhia residents at home, across Ukraine and abroad: scans by messenger, delivery by Nova Poshta
Zaporizhzhia has no justice headquarters of its own – and since February 2026 it needs none: Justice-category apostilles are issued via Diia or any city DRACS office, and Etalon covers every Kyiv-side route remotely.
No local justice office – and why it no longer matters
Zaporizhzhia oblast is administratively assigned to the interregional justice department based in Dnipro; the city has no headquarters of its own. Before 2026 that geography mattered. It no longer does: under Ministry of Justice order No. 3177/5 (in force since 1 February 2026), Justice-category documents – civil-registry certificates, notarial copies, court rulings – are accepted at any DRACS office in the city, at a notary, in a state archive, or electronically via Diia.
The fee and the timeline are identical whichever intake you choose: 670 UAH for individuals (1160 UAH for legal entities) and up to 3 business days.
A three-question test: file yourself or delegate
Is it a single document? Is it Justice-category – a registry certificate, notarial copy or court ruling? Is no translation required? Three times "yes" – file it yourself: Diia takes minutes. Any "no" is where the bureau earns its fee. The typical Zaporizhzhia case is a family relocating abroad: birth and marriage certificates, a ZNU diploma for the Education Ministry, a police check for the Interior Ministry – each translation queued after its own stamp, never before. Etalon runs the whole chain as one order with one deadline.
What still routes through Kyiv
Educational documents – ZNU and Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic diplomas with transcripts – are apostilled by the Ministry of Education in Kyiv, on longer timelines; if foreign recognition comes next, see our Zaporizhzhia nostrification page. Police-clearance certificates have been apostilled by the Interior Ministry itself since 2023 (Cabinet resolution No. 631): in-person intake is Kyiv-only (51 UAH), while Diia bundles the certificate with its apostille and Ukrposhta delivers it. Medical certificates belong to the MFA. We file all of these on your behalf.

FAQ
Where do I get an apostille in Zaporizhzhia?
Since 1 February 2026, civil-registry, notarial and court documents are accepted at any DRACS office in the city, at a notary, in a state archive or via Diia. Diplomas, police checks and medical certificates go through Kyiv agencies – we file those for you.
Do Zaporizhzhia documents have to go through Dnipro?
No. The oblast is administratively assigned to the Dnipro-based justice department, but that binds officials, not applicants: any city DRACS office or the Diia app accepts Justice-category documents.
Which ministry apostilles a police-clearance certificate?
The Interior Ministry – since 2023 it has apostilled the certificates it issues (Cabinet resolution No. 631). In-person filing exists only in Kyiv (51 UAH); via Diia the certificate is ordered together with the apostille and delivered by Ukrposhta.
What does an apostille cost in Zaporizhzhia in 2026?
State fees: 670 UAH for individuals or 1160 UAH for companies in the Justice category, 51 UAH for the Interior-Ministry stamp. Bureau support starts at UAH 950 per document.
Apostille or translation first?
Usually the stamp goes on the original or a notarised copy first, and the translation then covers the document together with its apostille. We confirm the order for your destination country before starting.
