Apostille in Lutsk: people travel here, documents no longer have to
Lutsk hosts the General Consulate of Poland, so appointment dates pull visitors here from Volyn, Rivne and Ternopil oblasts. The apostille moves in the opposite direction: since 1 February 2026 the Justice-category stamp is issued by any DRACS office, notary, state archive or the Diia app – the state fee in our price and up to 3 business days, with no travel at all. This page separates what is now done locally from what still goes through Kyiv.

The city people bring their documents to
Lutsk plays an unusual part in western Ukraine’s paperwork: the General Consulate of the Republic of Poland sits in the city, and its district covers three oblasts – Volyn, Rivne and Ternopil. Appointment dates therefore pull translated document sets towards Lutsk from Rivne, Kremenets or Ternopil.
The apostille itself, meanwhile, stopped travelling: the February 2026 reform (Justice Ministry order No. 3177/5) made the stamp a local service. This page keeps the two flows separate – what is stamped in the city within days, and what still runs through Kyiv.

Any DRACS office, notary or state archive now accepts Justice-category documents – civil-registry certificates, notarial copies, court rulings – and in the Diia app the whole filing happens on a smartphone. In Lutsk the intake points are the city DRACS office at 18 Sobornosti Ave and the district office at 67 Vynnychenka St.
Volyn oblast is formally administered by the Lviv-based Western interregional justice directorate, but that is administrative geography, not a filing address: no trip to Lviv or Kyiv is required. The national numbers apply: the state fee is already inside our price (higher for legal entities), up to 3 business days, lawfully extendable to a month when a signature or registry record is verified.
Two exceptions still routed through Kyiv
The reform left two agencies untouched. Diplomas and supplements – including those of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University – are still apostilled by the Education Ministry in Kyiv, with longer timelines. The criminal-record extract is apostilled by the Interior Ministry, which also issues it (Cabinet resolution No. 631, since 2023): the in-person window works only in Kyiv, but in Diia the extract is ordered together with its apostille and delivered by Ukrposhta.

Poland, the treaty nuance – and a set that meets you in Lutsk

The logistics adapt to your consulate visit: if you are travelling to Lutsk from Rivne or Ternopil oblast, the finished translated set goes by Nova Poshta either to your home city in advance or straight to a Lutsk branch, timed to your appointment. The stamp comes first, and the translation then covers the document together with its apostille. For Poland the order may shorten: when the legal-assistance treaty makes the stamp unnecessary, we translate right away. We confirm the order for your institution before starting.
