Apostille
An apostille is an international certification of a document's authenticity, required for recognition in countries party to the Hague Convention. In Ukraine an apostille is affixed by the relevant authorities. Since February 2026, civil-registry, notarial and court documents (the Ministry of Justice's remit) can be apostilled at any civil registry office or through Diia, not only in Kyiv; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Science remain based in Kyiv, not in Kharkiv.
